Nestled between nature and fun in the city, our hotel is situated around 20 kilometres from the famous city of Mozart, Salzburg, and around 30 kilometres from the spa town of Bad Ischl. We boast a picturesque location in the state of Salzburg’s world-famous Salzkammergut region. Your holiday destination is called Fuschl am See – home to around 1,500 residents.

Autobahn motorway toll
Please note that a vignette toll sticker is mandatory on Austria’s motorways. You can purchase a vignette at almost all petrol stations and motorway service stations directly at the Austrian border.
Parking at Waldhof Fuschlsee Resort
Outdoor parking is available free of charge.
You can also book garage parking for € 8 per day. Please note: as outdoor parking is limited, we recommend booking a spot in the garage.
Electric car charging stations
E-charging stations are available in our garage (fee applies). To use a station, you must book a parking spot in our garage.

Public transport
The Fuschl am See bus stop is an 8-minute walk from the hotel. You can reach St Gilgen, St Wolfgang, Bad Ischl and Salzburg with this bus.
Mobility fee
Starting in May 2025, a mobility fee of €0.50 per person (ages 15 and up) per night will be charged, offering numerous benefits. For example, you can use all public transportation throughout the entire province of Salzburg for free. Find more advantages here: Link
Travelling by car
the fastest way to your holiday in the Salzkammergut region is via the A1 motorway – “Thalgau” exit
from the exit, you will reach Fuschl am See in about 15 minutes. Take the Enzersberg Landesstrasse road to the roundabout, and exit the roundabout at the second exit towards Wolfgangsee.
continue on the Wolfgangsee Strasse road until you reach Fuschl am See.
drive along the lake – in three minutes, you will have reached your destination.
when you arrive at the hotel, ring the bell at the gate – we’ll open it straight away. Your room key will open the gate during your stay.
Travelling by plane or train
If you are planning on flying or taking the train, we will be happy to organise transfer from Salzburg Airport (SZG) or the Salzburg Main Railway Station. It’s best to let us know your planned arrival time and flight or train number when you make your reservation – nothing will stand in the way of an easy arrival!
